Keepsake Crafting 4 the Garden
There is nothing more satisfying than working in a garden!
You would be surprised how much pride and tranquility gardening can bring to your life. But, you have to be committed to taking care of your plants, or don’t bother getting any!
Plants are alive, and you can tell if they are happy or sad. I know that sounds strange, but that’s how I see it. If I’m taking good care of my plants, whether indoors (I love air plants) or outdoors, in the vegetable garden, or succulent gardens, my plants look happy! They stand tall, you can see new growth, their color is vibrant, and their leaves plump.
If I’m busy and start to neglect them, their leaves will droop, their leaf edges will start to turn brown, flowers will die, the plant looks dull and basically they start to look pretty darn sad.
The 4 main factors for healthy plants are SOIL, DRAINAGE, LIGHT and WATER! It’s that simple. Here’s a link to a page I created that gives you more information on these important factors: 4 Things to Know About Plants
People always say, “You have a green thumb” but really I just care about my plants and want them to be happy. It’s not easy. It’s a responsibility. But, there is nothing like sitting in my backyard in the morning, sipping on a cup of coffee and enjoying my garden.
If you pay attention to your plants, and learn what they are telling you, over time you will become a compassionate, and caring plant owner too!
